The challenges and effects of the COVID-19 pandemic are clearly tangible across the globe at all levels, in all markets, industries and sectors. After the early bird phase came to an end in March, the excellent registration level of yummex Middlle East showed all indications that the 2020 edition of the trade fair would be very successful. In the further course of the planning, however, it became noticeable that many companies are not yet prepared to take part in trade fairs in the current stage of the pandemic.

Against this background, the organisers of yummex Middle East, Koelnmesse GmbH and the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), have decided to cancel yummex Middle East 2020 in line with the cancellation of the other autumn food shows in Dubai, which were originally planned from 03.-05.11.2020.

Together with our partner, DWTC, we look forward with great motivation and confidence to the next yummex Middle East, which will take place from 07.-09.11.2021 during the "Expo 2020" period.

From 31.01. to 03.02.2021, ISM in Cologne, the world's largest trade fair for sweets and snacks, is the next international industry meeting point for first-class exhibitors and trade visitors.
